We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate learning support assistant to join our team at GEMS Al Barsha National School. The successful candidate will work closely with special needs children, providing one-on-one support or group support to enhance their learning experience and overall development.

Responsibilities:

• Individualized support:
  Provide direct one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in various learning environments.
  Implement individualized education and behavior plans under the guidance of the SEN coordinator or relevant professionals.
• Academic assistance:
  Assist students in understanding and completing academic tasks, adapting materials to suit their learning styles and abilities.
  Collaborate with teachers to reinforce learning objectives and modify teaching strategies as needed.
• Emotional and behavioral support:
  Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students with SEN, promoting emotional well-being and positive behavior.
  Implement strategies to address and manage challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
• Communication and collaboration:
  Maintain open communication with teaching staff, inclusion teacher, and other professionals involved in the student's support network.
  Maintain daily communication with parents effectively.
• Progress monitoring:
  Keep detailed records of student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  Collaborate with the inclusion teachers to assess and report on the effectiveness of intervention strategies.

• Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
