Lease And Contract Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lease & Contract Officer to join our investment management team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, reviewing, and negotiating leases and contracts to ensure compliance and optimize our investment portfolio’s performance.

Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate lease agreements and various contracts in alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Manage lease documentation and maintain accurate records for all contractual agreements.
- Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and property management teams to address contract-related issues and ensure timely renewals and compliance.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to lease and contract terms.
- Assist in resolving disputes and liaise with external parties, such as landlords and tenants, to facilitate smooth contract administration.
- Monitor market trends to provide insights and recommendations to optimize lease terms and investment returns.
- Prepare reports and present contract status updates to senior management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Real Estate, or related field.
- Proven experience working with lease agreements and contracts, preferably in investment management or real estate sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and leasing practices within the UAE market.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English
