Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading Developer who is looking to hire a new Leasing Director to join its team. As the Leasing Director you will report to the Managing Director and develop and implement the leasing strategies of the organisation.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that maximum amount of development units are achieving the annual budget. You will also ensure that new developments are leased efficiently and exceed the desired footfall. You will maintain key relationships through tenant interaction, visiting tenants at their head offices and store openings within their developments to show support. A major component of this role will be to manage the department with minimal conflict whilst maintaining a successful group dynamic. The most important element of this role is to show consistency in financial security and longevity of each retail development. You will finalise deals and negotiations of lease agreements and assist the Director to ensure overall success of the client’s strategies and plans.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a BA Degree and have at least 7 years’ experience in retail leasing or property management. Experience at a senior level with infrastructure and financial responsibility is required as well as the ability to demonstrate experience in leadership, development and management of staff.
