Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a Real Estate Developer in Abu Dhabi who have a diverse portfolio and offering. They are in search of a Leasing Manager to hire into their flag-ship luxury mall in the centre of Abu Dhabi, which boasts high-end shopping, food and beverage outlets and hotels.
You will manage and oversee the daily activities of the leasing operations team in line with the organisations policies and standards. Responsible for all leasing tasks, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements. You will oversee the completion of paperwork and ensure high-levels of customer service. You will manage the productivity and financial performance of the leasing operations department, monitoring trends in the marketplace. Reporting to the Director of leasing, you will manage the ground staff in their day-to-day performance. You will set KPI’s and ensure they are met within a timely manner and budget. In addition, you will also develop and grow relationships with local, national and regional tenants.
Requirements
You will hold a Degree in Real Estate, Business or Marketing Management and have a minimum of 5 years professional experience working in a similar role for a luxury mall. You will have an understanding of the GCC retail markets and trends, as well as tenant mixing and zoning. You will have a strong business acumen and excellent knowledge of leasing commercial facilities within a mall context, such as high-end fashion and food and beverage. Candidates outside of the GCC will be considered, but must possess GCC experience in the past two years.
