Job description / Role
As Legal Advisor for product structuring you will be responsible for researching, developing, structuring and launching new products as well as partnerships, overseeing their viability and compliance from a Legal perspective.

Description
* Submitting proposals for creation and execution of new investment products or services based on market & client needs and market opportunities.
* Undertaking feasibility studies of Product Development opportunities for presentation to the Head of the Department
* Define, develop and execute the annual regional strategic marketing plan through gathering and analysing market research data.
* Monitor market trends and information collected to identify potential areas for the development of new financial products, and the restructuring of existing products.
* Identifying appropriate structures and jurisdictions (both onshore and offshore) for the type of assets being utilised and the target markets.
* Assess customer needs and requirements for defined segments and target accordingly.
* Monitor development process and ensure compliance to schedule and time frame.
* Liaise with legal and regulatory advisors to get guidance on appropriate structures.

Requirements
* The successful candidate must have an LLB from a recognised university.
* Minimum of ten years experience working in the Financial Services industry, of which five years ideally spent advising on the structuring of investment products.
* This person must have solid working knowledge of investment management and the applicable financial regulation in the UAE, Saudi and preferably Bahrain.
* Arabic language skills are strong preferred.
