Job description / Role
Reporting to: Legal Advisor & Board Secretary
Job Objective:
To assist the legal advisor in giving appropriate advice to management in order to minimize legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Legal Advisor on different issues related with legal department.
• Review rentals, sales contracts and providing legal advice in day to day business in this regard.
• Assist legal advisor in solving the complicated legal matters by researching and reviewing all the legal aspects of the cases.
• Respond to emergency matters of day to day business from the sales team, POA reviews and confirmation and attestation in the absence of the Legal Adviser.
• Manage the database of all major contracts signed by RAK Properties and ensure its protection and integrity at all times.
• Keep abreast of all legislation that can affect RAK Properties business and comply accordingly.
• Liaise with external lawyers to resolve to follow up on cheque return cases, police and court actions.
Requirements
• Bachelors’ degree in Law or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience out of which at least 1-2 years UAE experience is a MUST. Only candidates
currently working or available in UAE will be considered for this position.
• Arabic language (written and verbal) – Mandatory.
