Job description / Role

Charterhouse is currently working with an international law firm based in Abu Dhabi, who is looking to hire a pro-active and results driven Legal Assistant to work closely with and support a Team of Lawyers in the Region. Due to the demands of this role, our client requires that the candidate has experience in a similar role.

As a legal assistant, your responsibilities will be extremely varied including supporting a team of Fee Earners with all aspects of legal secretarial duties, office administration, document formatting, audio typing and supporting them with their monthly billing.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing their diary and travel arrangements, handling incoming telephone queries and emails, processing of expenses, document formatting, audio typing and billing. As an integral part of the team, you will provide high level administrative and client services support.

This role may also take on some paralegal duties, assisting with research and case bundles. This is a full-time hybrid role working within a fast-paced environment and will see you working within a friendly and diverse team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years Legal Secretarial experience working for another international law firm and with regional exposure. You must have strong attention to detail with the ability to work well in a fast-paced setting.

You must have a positive attitude, able to complete tasks with energy and enthusiasm and be extremely organised. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills in English along with a positive personality demonstrating strong team work skills.
