WSP are looking for Legal Counsel provide operationally sound advice and support to management and the client in relation to a broad range of legal tasks, agreements and related issues affecting WSP ensuring best practices remain current and active across the business units and projects.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Provide legal services in a timely, proactive and efficient manner to all managerial levels of the Middle East business.
* Manage the corporate entities of the Middle Eastern business including day-to-day management, liquidation and formation.
* Negotiate, draft and review the full suite of consultancy contracts, standard form contracts and subcontracts and other commercial agreements.
* Maintain appropriate awareness of the legislative and regulatory environment relating to key aspects of WSP's current operations.
* Provide advice on legal and regulatory issues and assist in the provision of advice on new or more complex legal and regulatory issues in consultation with the Senior Legal Counsel or General Counsel EMEA.
* Assist in the management of disputes on as as-needs basis.
* Assist in the development of training programmes for non-legal staff on relevant legal issues.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Qualified lawyer with 5 to 10 years legal experience developed by working in a reputable law firm or in an in-house legal team specialising in construction law
* Excellent communication skills verbal and written both in English, Arabic an advantage
* Experienced in negotiating complex commercial agreements
