Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large holding company based in Dubai who is looking to hire a Legal Counsel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain high levels of exposure in a large organisation.
The role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating of complex commercial agreements and trade contracts. You will also produce guidelines and templates for business deals in order to assist the teams and provide them with legal knowledge to support the business. Additionally, you will manage and mitigate legal disputes to minimise risk to the company and employees as well as ensure that the business is fully compliant at all times.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience with either trading, maritime, banking or insurance accompanied by extensive knowledge of UK law. The ideal candidate should be well presented, ambitious and have excellent writing and analytical skills A Law Degree or equivalent is also essential for this positon along with the ability to speak Arabic fluently.
