Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large private industrial and investment group that has multiple subsidiaries in different sectors. Our client has been established in the GCC for over 30 years and is looking to hire an Arabic speaking in-house Lawyer to act as Legal Counsel.
As Legal Counsel, you will directly report to the group general counsel and be responsible for handling the general day-to-day corporate/commercial contracts & agreements. Furthermore you will be required to work closely with the legal team and external lawyers on disputes against the company. There will be high levels of interaction with government entities and other local suppliers.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience dealing with a mix of general commercial / litigation disputes. A background in manufacturing / real estate would be an advantage. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are fully bilingual, demonstrating excellent Arabic & English language skills.
