Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading UAE business who are looking to add to their Legal team.
Due to their continued success, they are currently looking to add a Senior Real Estate & Construction Legal Counsel to their Legal team.

The key responsibilities of the role:

* Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters
* Ensure the legality of commercial transactions, advising the higher management on their legal rights and duties, including the duties and responsibilities of corporate officers
* Reviews, drafts and negotiates agreements, consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms and amendments for customers, mainly in English, sometimes in Arabic;
* Drafts, amends, manages, responds to, or analyses the MOAs of the Group and its amendments as needed;
* Supporting the business across a number of legal matters related to Real estate and Construction including but not limited to these main points:

- Agreements/Contracts & documents management
- Regulatory support (Negotiations about Agreements disputes)
- Risk management

Requirements

The selected candidate will:

* Be a qualified common law lawyer, with a minimum of 8 years PQE
* Be based in the UAE or have experience working with this region
* Have a strong knowledge of Real estate and Construction law
