Charterhouse is working with a global US technology company who is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to focus on technology licensing / cloud computing agreements for the businesses public sector clients across the UAE and Middle East & Africa region. An exceptional opportunity to join one of the world’s leading and progressive businesses.

The role will be to work with the public sector division, working closely with the business and management in relation playing the lead legal role relating to the drafting, negotiation and review of a broad range of technology agreements, relating to licensing, partnerships, reseller, tenders and proposals. Whilst also maintaining US and international government compliance and contracting rules / regulations.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a Lawyer with legal / bar admission in the EU, US or equivalent, with experience of working on technology agreements from either an in-house legal counsel role at a technology company or with a Law Firm. Some knowledge and experience of working government and public sector procurement and contracting matters is essential, whether in the Middle East or elsewhere internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer either already in the Middle East or interested in relocating to join a Blue Chip company.
