Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role incumbent is responsible for advising the management on all legal matters and taking care of all legal cases and contract management for the organization

Contract Management & Statutory compliance:
- Prepare, review and negotiate all contracts or any other documentation of the Group and assess legal implications and bring to the attention of the management
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management
- Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
- Ensure compliance of laws and regulations for all operations in an organization

Manage the existing cases:
- Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly and conduct cases to protect the better interest of the Company
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers

Business Perspective & Advice to Management:
- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
- Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken
- Provide advice to stakeholders regarding changes in the law or other legal issues that may involve the short or long-term strategic operations of the Company
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management
- Reduce engagement of external legal counsel and reduction in the overall number of hours worked by external legal counsel for regular legal matters of the Company. Negotiate to reduce or continue the same rent for renewal of Corporate Tenancy Contracts
- Meet client requirement; Streamline Legal Documentation of the Group;
- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Lawyer by Qualification (Bilingual Preferred)
- Experience in Healthcare Industry
- Can speak Arabic
- Can draft letters in Arabic
- Experience in handling cases
- Hard worker with a strong multi-tasks skill
