Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse are working with an international logistics company who are looking to hire an experienced and pro-active Legal Secretary to join their Dubai office.

This role is a broad role and your duties will include processing plans for new and ongoing cases, assisting in lease agreements and amending various type of agreements and paperwork that are due to go to any hearings. You will conduct legal research and also manage diary arrangements and organise meetings. You will act as the main point of contact and liaise between different departments in relation to legal requests and any claims made within the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include high level and professional administrative duties and will see you working in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have proven experience within a similar secretarial role and it would be highly advantageous if you have previously worked within an international law firm. You must have at least 2 years of regional UAE experience. You must have the ability to use own initiative and remain calm under pressure and have great attention to detail.

You will have strong organisational skills and communication skills in English, if you are an Arabic speaker this would be a plus.
