About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented legal specialist with 1-2 years of experience in the legal sector. The candidate must possess an understanding of UAE laws and regulations, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve assisting with legal documentation, contract management, and providing general administrative support to the legal department in the UAE office.

We welcome applications from candidates currently based outside the UAE who are open to relocating for this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, including contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and corporate resolutions.
  • Support the legal team with contract lifecycle management, including tracking execution, renewals, and terminations.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings on UAE laws, regulations, and compliance requirements along with providing support in relation to regulatory filings.
  • Maintain legal files, databases, and documentation in an organized and secure manner.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and government agencies as required.
  • Monitor and track changes in local laws and regulations that may impact the business.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal department.

Skills, knowledge & expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably within the UAE.
  • Solid understanding of UAE laws and regulatory landscape.
  • Familiarity with contract management software or legal tech tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and a team player with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
