The Company
Robert Half are working with a multinational legal services firm who have an office in Dubai. We are on the lookout for a sharp IT customer service specialist to work with the company's staff and partners. The successful candidate will be joining a cutting-edge global IT department provide exception support and advice so the business can capitalize on technology and benefit from efficiencies.

The Role

This role is client facing, both in person and remote covering all of the companies GCC offices.

* Assisting in making our lawyers effective in the use of technology which will help them to improve efficiencies and support their clients
* Showcase the technology that is available, both existing and future
* Mobile working - supporting staff and partners in how to utilise our mobile technology whilst working remotely
* Collating and reporting feedback on IT services and solutions to the central IT team at monthly / quarterly intervals
* Perform desk side and remote coaching as required
* Support the on-boarding of new starters by being involved in the IT induction and taking responsibility to ensure every new starter is familiar with our systems and software (including remote working solutions)
* Assist technical teams with day-to-day IT support, high profile incidents and projects
* Perform basic site management of IT equipment where required
* Assist with meetings and presentations in our offices (client and internal)
* Supporting the Property & Workplace teams with office moves throughout the region
* Assist the regional IT team in management of stock levels (as required)
* Prioritising workload through use of the ticket management system
* Weekend working where required, e.g. to support roll-out of new technology;
* Manage your personal development plan to ensure you have an up-to-date skillset. Look for every opportunity to expand your skills.

Requirements

The Candidate

* A keen interest in technology and its application in the legal environment
* Technical competency in software used in a professional services environment
* OS/Apps Support - especially Microsoft Windows and Office
* Experience in supporting a document management system (ideally FileSite / iManage)
* Hardware support - Dell laptops & desktops and Ricoh printers
* Ability to learn and self-teach new technologies and software
* Confident and approachable
* The ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels
* Adaptable and reliable
* Self-sufficient but enjoys working as part of a team
* Demonstrate innovation, flexibility and ability to think laterally
* Proactive approach to problem solving
* Business results-focused when promoting technology to our colleagues
* Flexibility and willingness to travel
* Ability to work under pressure and in demanding situations

Qualifications required

* Educated to at least degree standard, preferably in the IT field
* Bilingual Arabic/English advantageous
* Minimum 3 years' relevant IT support experience in a customer facing environment
* Experience of working in a professional services (ideally legal) environment would be advantageous

Salary and Benefits
Up to AED 20,000 per month and standard company benefits
