Job description / Role
As a Light Vehicle Driver you are responsible to;
• Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
• Primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages
• Use and maintain the tools or equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing or measuring devices
Requirements
Light and Heavy Vehicle Driver Requirements:
• Indian Nationality
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable
