Position Summary:

As a Line Electrician you will be responsible for the planned and preventive maintenance of Electrical and Automation infrastructure. You will contribute to improving asset lifecycle, energy conservation and quality defects. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across our plants.

Job Responsibilities:

- Implement and execute Preventive Maintenance Plans to ensure reliability, sustainability, and security of the Electrical and Automation infrastructure that includes Switchgears, SMDBs, MCCs
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot for induction motors, VFDs, servo motors, servo drives, sensors, PLCs, HMI, Industrial PCs etc.
- Execute electrical maintenance in accordance with the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy to proactively maintain/improve the fixed assets and Asset Maintenance Management (AMM) as part of the process to manage the assets lifecycle
- Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime
- Liaise with the site Electrical Engineer/Safety Officer on matters relating to electrical safety, control interlock and energy conservation
- Manage electrical documents (electrical drawings, manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheet, calibration certificates) through efficient filing and archiving procedures
- Support and participate in the implementation of Preventive Maintenance methodologies , as a member of maintenance team. Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues. Ensure adherence to applicable standards in the area of responsibility
- Ensure People, Food and Equipment Safety through safe work practices
- Maintain and track the inventory of critical electrical spares in store
- Execute Instrument Calibration Plan for various types of instruments like flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, conductive transmitters, temperature transmitters, metal detectors, X-ray machines, weighing scales, check weighers, moisture analyzers, load cells, O2/CO2 analyzers, ammonia gas detectors etc.

Requirements

What will make you successful...

- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering will be a plus
- 3 years of electrician experience in a manufacturing, technical, industrial, or related environment, FMCG experience will be a plus
- Willing to work in shifts
- Fluency in English, Arabic will be a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Hygienic Engineering, Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) and Food Processing Operations (Preferably in Confectionery & Dairy Manufacturing)
- Experience in Electrical Preventive Maintenance activities of Low Voltage Switchgears, MCCs, VFDs, induction motors, servo motors, all kinds of sensors, instruments etc.
- Experience in PLC & HMI, basic knowledge of programming software preferably Allen Bradley (Control Logix, Compact Logix), Siemens etc.
- Experience in working with VFDs like Allen Bradley, Danfoss, Siemens, ABB etc.
- Experience in working with Servo drives like Allen Bradley, Schneider etc.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Power Apps will be an advantage)
- Excellent communication skills to establish good working relations internally and externally with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
