We are looking for a hardworking and reliable loader operative to join our logistics/warehouse team. The loader operative will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting general warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and containers.
• Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage.
• Check and verify the quantity and condition of goods received or shipped.
• Follow correct procedures for labeling, packaging, and storing materials.
• Operate loading equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if licensed).
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the loading/unloading area.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift license (desirable but not mandatory).
