Job description / Role
About the Client:
The hiring company is a top agricultural trading company based in Dubai, with farms within the UAE and taking the lead in the production of fresh healthy fruits and vegetables, using the latest innovative technologies.
Job Role:
• Deal with the local fresh Fruits and Vegetable suppliers and farms.
• Responsible for sourcing fresh produce as per the Sales and Warehouse requirements
• Maintain desired profit margins according to respective customer rebate structures
• Maintain the relationship with vendors/suppliers and be involved in searching for new items/supplier
• Maintain contracts/reports for all sectors and create favorable credit terms for vendors as per company-mentioned policies
• Making the PO’s as per given requirements of Sales and make sure that timely submission of POs to suppliers according to their cut-off timeline
• Negotiate supply agreements, including discount structures and volume rebates
Requirements
Requirements:
• Open to ANY nationalities
• Male, 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s degree or any relevant certification
• Experienced in global sourcing and must have excellent negotiation skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience on the same field, fresh fruits and vegetable imports background is preferred
• Excellent familiarity with fresh fruits and vegetable types and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Fluent in English language and knowledge in Arabic language is an advantage
• Can join immediately will be prioritized
