Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Travel requirements: occasional travel within GCC

Objectives:
- To facilitate and structure the procurement activities performed in the projects according to the procedures and guidelines of FJORDSF.
- Develop and maintain the Supply Chain Strategy
- Lead the Local Logistic function and support project and tender team

To ensure the Procurement of all equipment and subcontract fabrication to the best price with the right quality delivered on time to all ongoing projects (Sourcing and taking the commercial responsibility towards Vendors and Subcontractors on behalf of FJORDSF).
- Ensure capability, and deliver qualified Supply Management personnel to the business streams’ projects through the people process (recruit, develop, retain) in HR and Resource Management under Operations.
- Maintain Supply Management Execution Methods.
- Develop and maintain Local supplier network
- Assist Tendering department on sourcing and costing key supplies
- Coordinate logistic activities and communicate to parties involved (client, supplier, Fjords Team, Forwarder)

Main responsibilities: HSEQ:
- To ensure that the products to be purchased meet all Client, Statutory and Corporate HSEQ requirements.
- To take responsibility for own safety.

Processes:
- To follow the given structure of the Supply Management Process and to ensure that the process interfaces and dependencies are defined and functional.
- Management of the Supply Management function to meet the requirements of projects Defining the metrics for analysing the progress and continuous improvement of supply management
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out according to the set policies, execution models, procedures etc., using agreed common tools and systems..

Business:
- Has full responsibility to clarify the commercial and legal aspects of the purchase including performing risk assessments and using the Risk Dashboard
- Has the obligation to follow the Fords procedures and guidelines when executing the Supply Management Process
- Assistance in the preparation of Fjords Supply Management annual strategy
- Implementation of FJORDS Supply Management strategy
- Management of category sourcing worldwide according to Akastor Group and FJORDS strategy
- Management of the supply of all materials, equipment and services utilising the total acquisition cost model
- Establishment of the overall supply management strategy and sourcing plan for projects in cooperation with Project Procurement Manager and Project Manager and for ensuring that the plan is implemented
- Negotiation and preparation of major frame / project agreements
- Managing and carrying out supplier pre-qualifications, approvals and evaluations
- Invoice processing according to agreed authority matrix and procedures.

Technology:
- Has the responsibility to ensure that the purchase objects will meet the required performance by consulting the technical resources of the Business Stream.

Colleagues:
· To motivate the purchase participants and create enthusiasm in the project.
· To support the Tendering Team, Sales and Project Team
· To become a referent for the Middle East Team and globally on issues related to logistic and local supply chain strategy

Requirements

- Bachelor / Master or similar in Economics, Business or Science.
- 3 years minimum in similar position

- A Supply Management recognized qualification.
- Strong business and negotiation skills.
