Job description / Role
Logistic Operations/Coordinator - Abu Dhabi
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Executive to join our client in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sea and land freight operations and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of sea and land freight activities in Abu Dhabi.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of operations, including logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize storage costs.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards for sea and land freight operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and streamline processes.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sea and land freight operations, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management and reporting.
- Familiarity with local and international regulations and standards for sea and land freight operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Salary:
AED
4,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
