Job description / Role
Objectives:
• Reporting to the Head of logistics and transport Europe, He / she will Manage the Logistics query & solve the problem and to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.
Main responsibilities:
• Analyze log issues on a regular basis and drive corrective actions.
• Arrange shipments on regular basis according to specific requirements for customer service department.
• Follow up the daily deliveries with the freight forwarders and provide daily delivery status to the sales Dept.
• Follow up shipment accordingly and Issue corrective action plans.
• Prepare logistics reports and analysis on a regular basis.
• Freight rates upload in TMS (Transporeon).
• Reporting and KPI's.
• Provide freight rates calculations
• Analyze and validate Logistics claims.
• Initiate and keep track of the claims recovery.
• Analyze and Validate Freight cost.
• Coordinate special requests/documentations between customers & carriers.
• Weekly meeting with Logistic Managers to update on recent issues and corrective actions status.
• Process claims recovery with carriers (coordinate the complete process from the initial notification to a final compensation).
• Coordinate issues between customers and carriers.
• Analyze log issues and discuss problems with carriers.
• Reporting to: Logistic Manager
• Desired start date: ASAP
• Duration: Temporary 6-9 months
Requirements
University Qualifications:
• Diploma in Engineering / Industrial / Secondary Education
Nature and length of previous experience:
• Minimum 2Years Experience in logistic.
Specialist knowledge:
• Negotiation & Analytical Skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals throughout the company as well as build relationships with vendors.
• Strong listening and evaluating skills with the ability to design creative solutions to problem situations.
• Strong math and numerical data analysis skills and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and achieve desired results.
Language Fluency:
• German, Italian, French is a must
