Logistics/Accounts Assistant

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client a Dubai based multinational FMCG company we are looking to recruit a Logistics/Accounts Assistant Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for contributing towards the logistics and basic accounting function, this will include, transferring product volumes and shipping information into an Excel database, coordinating with suppliers from the Philippines and Sri Lanka, providing customers with all details regarding loading and arrival of goods ( this will include track and tracing shipments), generate accurate reports of shipping movements, posting daily journal entries, managing physical count of inventory and prepares payments, disbursements and perform reconciliations.

Salary:
AED 7000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be a UAE resident, have a minimum of 3 years UAE experience with sea freight export and import documentation, a background in freight forwarding or ocean freight, knowledge of Middle Eastern import and ERP systems.
