Purpose of the job: (function of the position)
The successful applicant is responsible for providing full support with Innovations team in KPI monitoring and developing improvement plans for MENA branches & Subsidiaries.
Key Objectives:
- Provides support with Logistics Manager in KPI monitoring and developing improvement plans for MENA subsidiaries and branches.
- Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Issue Monitoring and communications with Sales Branch (KPI, 3PL Management, Logistics Cost)
- Make the Innovation Strategy & Task yearly basis
- Long term & Midterm Logistics Innovation Strategy for Sales branch
- Innovation Task Simulation Through Data Analysis
- Finding Improvement point for Sales Branch
- Logistics Consulting for MENA Branch
- Audit supporting for MENA Branch
- Weekly Conference call with sales branch
- HQ Communication if any issue happened on sales branch
- Monthly & Weekly Report
- Logistics Cost Reduction plan for sales branch
Requirements
- Korean National
- Candidates must be UAE residents.
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience within the Middle East
- Masters Degree from a recognized university is an advantage
- SCM & Logistics Field Experience is an advantage
- Ability to travel 10% of the time and as required.
- Excellent skills in MS Office Applications(Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Competencies:
- In-depth professional logistics knowledge and expertise
- Well developed knowledge and understanding of the business environment
- Thorough knowledge of relevant local import, export, clearance, transportation, land warehousing laws and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of procurement, shipping, clearance, transportation and warehousing methods and procedures
- Strong analytical skills, planning and organizing skills
- Operational planning and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local authorities.
- Well experienced in International Trade, Import Operations and UAE Customs Laws.
- Good command over English and locally required language (Arabic).
Physical demands and work environment: (General)
- Physical demands: Ability to travel 10% of the time and as required.
- Work environment: Office environment, 3rd party logistics warehouse and other MENA branches/subsidiary.
