Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The company forms part of a multinational group operating in niche markets in which it holds leading market positions. The head office is located in Europe. There are subsidiaries and distributors worldwide and production facilities in Europe, North America and Asia. The regional office for MENA is located in Dubai.

• Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
• Trace, track and expedite incoming shipments and coordinate with external forwarder for imported goods clearance
• Assist the team in preparing export / import shipping documents
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods when required
• Interact with third party logistics service providers when required
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Ensure accuracy of all inventories
Keep track on all incoming and out-going goods, and must be documented and inventory must be updated each time.
• Maintain communication with sales manager\'s & back office staff to ensure proper working order
• Review bills, invoices and purchase orders related to import / export.
• Assist team for exhibition set up and display of products when required
• Monitor and facilitate repair orders
• Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
• Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries and organise the stock items neatly at all times
• Ensure that all items are properly numbered and tagged and arranged well in the warehouse.
• Notifying the responsible person for unserviceable or damaged items and arranging disposal when required
• Reconcile hand receipts
• Manage warehouse security related work such as preparing badges, passes and identification
• Assist in unloading & loading goods for the import/ export shipments.
• Ability to lift products and equipment as some heavy lifting and manual handling is required

Requirements

• At least high school education completed and good computer skills
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Warehouse & logistics operations, JAFZA experience preferred.
• Candidates with UAE driving license preferred
• Good organisational skills
• Good verbal and written and ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural environment, and customer service.
