Overview

Wood is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join its UAE Business Unit to carry out all activity per Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct, ensuring all statutory and legal requirements and applicable processes and procedures are complied with and all documents are filed accurately and fully auditable. This role is onsite in Dubai, UAE with travel requirements.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Carrying out all activity per Wood Supply Chain Code of Conduct, ensuring compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
• Supporting the objectives of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Policy by adhering to applicable procedures and work instructions.
• Understanding and living Wood's vision, values, and behaviors.
• Working with the Wood Financial Management Framework.
• Allocating, controlling, issuing, and marshaling materials between different work locations and suppliers per project requirements and schedule/vessel sailings.
• Producing shipping documents for all materials movements.
• Timely updating procurement systems with goods receipts, manifests, and shipping documentation.
• Managing freight forwarding and import/export and customs control activities.
• Complying with the Shipping Execution Procedures.
• Understanding the requirements of Licensors', Clients', and Global Execution Centre Secrecy Agreements.
• Becoming acquainted with relevant specifications, terms, conditions, schedules, and procedures pertaining to the project.
• Preparing and issuing specific project shipping procedures as directed by the Project Procurement Manager and/or Project Manager.

Expected Qualifications

• Degree in relevant discipline.
