Logistics Coordinator

Job description / Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the logistics process, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials. This role is based in UAE-Dubai and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
- Get customer orders from customers
- In Charge of Purchases and processing shipping on incoming stocks
- Monitoring status of Stock Purchases
- Monitoring performance of Warehouse
- Process sales invoices in the system
- Process shipping orders
- Get updated information regarding changes credit terms and other sales related matters
- Window Person for customers regarding, return of goods, discounts, rebates, marketing support etc
- Make sure all shipments are sent on time
- Coordination with factories regarding delivery schedules and other shipment matters
- Follow-up payments from customers

- At least 3 years of experience
- Knowledgeable of any ERP system is an advantage
- Can join immediately
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing logistics challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to achieving operational excellence.
