Logistics Coordinator - Transport & Logistics

Job description / Role

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in coordinating import & export shipments
• Expertise in dealing with shipping lines for:
• Vessel bookings
• Shipping Instructions (SI) submission
• BL confirmation and amendments
• Efficient Delivery Order (DO) follow-up with shipping lines and agents
• Hands-on experience with DP World (Dubai Trade / CARGOES / Rosoom):
• DO updates
• BOE (Bill of Entry) pass follow-up
• Gate pass coordination
• Coordination with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters
• Customer handling for both imports and export operations
• Shipment tracking and timely status updates to customers
• Documentation handling:
• BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO
• Manifest checks and compliance
• Good understanding of UAE customs procedures
• Ability to resolve delays, demurrage, and documentation issues

• Excellent communication with customers and vendors
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with time-sensitive shipments
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
