Logistics Executive

Job description / Role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Executive to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics processes, including import and export operations, ensuring efficient and timely transport of goods. You will play a crucial role in coordinating shipments, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing logistics operations to support our business goals.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations for export and import shipments via air and sea.
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure efficient execution of logistics processes.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues that arise during transit.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance paperwork.
- Evaluate and optimize shipping routes and transportation methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure that logistics requirements are met and exceeded.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and inventory management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize operations.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software - Calogi, Dubai Trade
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
