Job description / Role
A large regional food business, who have a strong foothold and presence in the GCC that have a high volume of import & export food trading goods.
This well-known food trading business are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager in Dubai, to manage the logistics operations for import & export for 4 countries in the Middle East.
We are looking for Assistant Logistic Managers or Logistic Managers that are looking for a role that has growth within the company as you'll have a carved-out succession plan.
This regional business offers higher than market rate salaries, offering between 14,000 AED – 17,000 AED, as well as a long term regional development path.
Salary:
AED
14,000 to 17,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
As the title suggests you will be responsible for the logistics operations for import & export managing 5 warehouses in 4 countries.
You must have logistics experience working with food trading companies that have both import & export logistics.
Clear understanding of the laws and regulations for different free zones, customs clearance and permits/documents.
Clear understanding of working with shipping companies and freight forwarders and understanding of the process as well as managing a team of 12 people.
