Job description / Role
• Responsible for effective movement of freight through the various shipping modes.
• Manages multiple logistics functions within field operations ensuring on-time order delivery.
• Freight carrier negotiation (prices, terms & conditions) for the benefit of the company
• Coordinating and tracking inbound and outbound goods flow
• Managing a team of Logistics personnel
• Analyzing logistical problems and generating solutions
Requirements
• At least 5 years of related work experience in Logistics & Supply chain management
• Fluent English. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand
• Must be competent in computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, data base)
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Planning and organizing skills
• Time Management skills
• Stress tolerance
