Job description / Role

Job purpose

Manage, supervise, monitor, control and ensure the successful execution of Logistics processes and activities of both Inbound and outbound shipments.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure all export of goods by complying with all organizational policies and procedures.
• Manage various external relationships with freight forwarders, express carriers, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Manage all interactions related to shipping & logistics within the organization.
• Ensure that department personnel are functioning efficiently.
• Leading capacity and Deep knowledge in customs declaration management and clearance procedures
• Monitor & Control timely submission of Customs documents while following up on refund claims status.
• Recommend higher Management process improvements, by detecting potential risks while implement systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal controls of operations.
• Preparing and managing Logistics & Shipping budgets, monitoring expenditure, and implementing remedial measures where appropriate
• Manage all kinds of export and import shipments and research to reduce freight and transportation expenses.
• Manage Day-to-day Import & Export Logistics Operations.
• Manage cross border movements by Land, Sea & Air as per the client requirements.

• Work Experience as Logistics/Shipping Manager Key.
• Knowledge of customs relations will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of English.
• Work Experience in JAFZA required.
• Will be working 6 days a week.
