Job description / Role
Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of carriage, using approved vendors for Imports and Exports.
Responsibilities and main duties:
• Technical order specification and new part master data: find or create Flygt modules and prod numbers, fill in technical order specifications for our different brands.
• Sales order entry in ERP: check prices, delivery terms, payment terms against quotes, sales contracts, distributor agreements
• Customer service: answer enquiries for lead time, availability, standard prices etc.
• Tests and certificates: clarify customer needs and collaborate with suppliers in order to meet customer needs.
• Order acknowledge sales order
• Purchase order handling in ERP: check prices, delivery terms, payment terms etc.
• Monitor and follow up on deliveries
• Supplier master file in ERP: Register new suppliers and keep the master file updated.
• Transport handling: advising on delivery terms, book transports, handle freight documents
• Import and export handling: coordinate custom clearance, create and collect necessary documents
• Warehousing and cross docking: handle special solutions special/project orders
• Letter of credit handling: check what logistic requirements and documents can be accepted. Collect/issue and present logistic related L/C documents.

Requirements
• Post-secondary technical /logistics education. International trade and logistics education is an advantage.
• Highly proficient in English in speech and writing. Arabic is an advantage
• Knowledge in MS Microsoft Office, PC literate, experience in iScala is an advantage
• Experience with ERP systems
• International trade and logistics experience
• Letter of credit experience
