Job description / Role
The Logistics Systems and Operations Manager is responsible for the Logistics systems related operations (Product creation, updates, pricing, system postings, etc.), and acts as a support to all system queries and potential issues, in close collaboration with the Logistics Operations team and IT department. He handles the team of product coordinators, and Logistics Accountant.
• Monitor Performance of the Product Coordinators team via online Help Desk (item creation, purchase order creation, price updates, promotions upload, products and bar codes updates)
• Proceed to ad-hoc system developments (e.g. scanners for product reception, stock takes, etc.)
• Liaise with developers on maintenance and development needs. Act as project Manager on all systems related developments and be the link between Al Mana Logistics Operational requirements and IT development team (Project scoping, planning, testing and implementation)
• Assist peers on system related issues (Linked to Logistics)
• Proceeds to systems transactions of Al Mana Distribution (From purchase order to sales order)
• Review and validate all system postings done in AX
• Proceed to month-end system posting
• Review and adjust system / business processes as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Logistics, IT or management related field with strong track record in mathematics and business accounting as base subjects
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fully General Ledger integrated ERP and POS environment. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in Dynamics AX 2012 R3
