Luxury Fashion Buyer - Menswear

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is in exclusive partnership with a Luxury Fashion House which is currently looking to hire an experienced Buyer for Menswear category to support the stores within the Middle East region.

You will be responsible for the selection process of products in line with market needs and brand’s buying strategy guidelines, in order to maximize sales and profitability of all the stores within the Middle East region. You will also work as a part of Merchandising and Planning team and report directly to the General Merchandise Manager. In addition, you will conduct market, product and sales performance analysis and monitor stock movement. You must have a solid understanding of the market and the clientele, as well as fashion trends and main competitors. You will be responsible for the competitors’ stores visits in order to monitor the trends and their activities.

You will work very closely with the in-store management teams in order to understand the market demand and the customers’ needs.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role for a luxury fashion brand and ideally experience in menswear category.

The ideal candidate is proactive, very passionate about fashion and retail and possesses an excellent knowledge of the luxury fashion industry, competitors’ trends and activities.

This role requires excellent communication skills in English and a capability to interact with the international teams on high level.
