Maître D’ up to 6.9k Aed for a Luxury Fnb Group in Auh

• POSITION: Maître D
• SALARY: up to 6,900 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, duty meal and benefits as per UAE Law
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading Luxury FnB Group (French Restaurant/Café/Bar)
• LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Start date on December
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to European/Native English/French speakers/Western nationals
• Male/Female, 35 y/o and below

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Guarantee that the quality of service in the dining room and the catering services are in line with the company standards
• Optimise the use of resources
• Manage the team’s administration (drawing up overtime agreements. etc.)
• Demonstrate versatility and carry out tasks in the department when needed
• Set objectives for employees in accordance with the company’s Group strategy
• Help organise banquets
• Collect payments and return change
• Perform annual appraisals
• Recruit staff to the department as needed

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree or any equivalent certification/training in hospitality management
• Proven work experience as Maître D’hôtel/ team leader/supervisor/junior assistant manager in any similar catering industry or high-end French type of restaurant
• Understand the internal/external customer and meet the needs of both the customer and the company
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and transparency
• Strong ability to accommodate tasks and people
• Extensive team management skills, analytical skills, sales skills
• Must be welcoming / Service-minded, high team spirit with innovation and creativity
