Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading technology company who is looking to hire a Machine Learning Software Engineer to join their team. You will be working on a range of classification and optimisation which includes AV fingerprinting, video classification, text / sentiment classification and collaborative filtering.
Your main responsibilities will be to develop highly scalable classifiers and tools leveraging machine learning, rule based model and data regression. The role will include applying high quality software development to a wide range of ML related coding projects. This is an opportunity for a skilled ML Engineer who is passionate and an expert in their field.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a PhD / MS Degree in computer science or related field and have at least 5 years’ experience in ML or pattern recognition or recommendation systems or AI or large-scale data mining. It essential you are an expert developer in C / C plus plus and Java. Experience with Hadoop / Hbase / Pig or MapReduce / Sawzall / Bigtable and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PHP and shell scripts is advantageous.
