Machine Operator

Job description / Role

Bion Industrial, a part of the Bion Group, requires Machine Operators with experience in:
- CNC Machines
- Press Brake Operators
- Dishing & Flanging
- Laser Cutting
- Lathe Machines

Duties:
- Performs machine operation activities assigned
- Meets the quality requirements of the job
- Operates with complete safety measures
- Operates & maintains effectively the tools/machinery
- Reports to the supervisor/engineer for any non-conformity in job /unsafe conditions or emergency situations.
- Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment.
- Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department.
- To wear all PPEs before start the job.
- To maintain housekeeping of his assigned work place

Requirements

- Basic - Secondary School(Vocational) [NOT COMPULSORY]
- Should have good knowledge of machine processes,
- Min: 2 years of experience in operating machines
- Must have working knowledge of Window Operating systems.
- 10th Passed or ITI with minimum 3 years Experience in similar job profile

Technical Competencies:
- Keeping records; maintaining equipment
- Should be able to perform job & machine set up
- Communication and interpretation skills.
- Careful use and handling of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear, breakdowns and damage.
- Prevent wastage of materials.
- Ensure all HSE and Quality aspects
- Maintain housekeeping of workplace at required level.
