Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a UAE based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead you will be responsible for being an accountable member of the Onshore Production Support Team providing technical support to offshore maintenance teams with respect to mechanical equipment including Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning ( HVAC) diesel engines and pumps, be the technical authority for HVAC, accountable for reviewing and maintaining performance standards, interface with engineering department to ensure maintainability is considered when specifying, procuring and installing new or replacement equipment and provide input for annual budget planning
Requirements
The successful candidate must be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or Higher Diploma/Foundation degree, have a refrigeration F Gas certification, formal OEM diesel training with a minimum of 10 years experience in the operations and maintenance of offshore mechanical equipment including HVAC, air cooled chilled water plants and package units, relevant onshore/offshore hydrocarbon processing, utilities plant and associated legislation and knowledge of operating and maintaining mechanical equipment in remote environments
Please note we are not looking for project based candidates but candidates with experience working for operators/on operations side.
