Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsible for planning the maintenance activities to ensure the timely execution of maintenance and to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and utilization of maintenance team.

1. Maintenance:
•Responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activates at the site.
•Liaison with Production, Purchasing, Planning and Projects to ensure the plan takes into account the requirement of all stake holders.
•Consolidate maintenance activities from various sources to maximize the utilization of the downtime.
•Plan the maintenance activities ensuring all the resources required for the jobs are available to maximize the tool time.
• Plan maintenance activities for all areas taking into account capacity planning, legal / statutory, and cost requirements
•Ensure that the Availability targets for planned maintenance are met through efficient planning without compromising the maintenance requirement.
•Ensure that Preventive Maintenance is executed on time
•Ensure the timely resolution of machine problems through corrective maintenance driving the zero defect state.
•Support Maintenance Manager in the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance

2.CMMS
•Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the computerized maintenance management system.
•Ensure that all the assets are added to the CMMS and updated as needed.
•Record all the maintenance activities planned and unplanned in the CMMS to generate maintenance history.
•Record and plan all the corrective maintenance request using CMMS
•Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedule using CMMS keeping the availability and cost constraints in mind.
•Generate the KPI reports for maintenance using CMMS and review with Maintenance Manager to drive continuous improvement
•Generate the reports from CMMS to analyse the maintenance history to help maintenance manager defining the effective maintenance strategy

3. Cost
•Track maintenance cost per line per month against the budget and drive the cost reduction especially maintenance manpower
•Asses the maintenance requirements for the future and provide input to maintenance manager in budgeting the cost.
•Optimise the cost through consolidation of work and maximisation of maintenance resources via smart planning.
•Prepare annual maintenance budget with monthly planning of maintenance cost including spare parts/ labour cost/ out sourcing.

4. Spare Parts Management
•Forecast and spare parts requirement as per the maintenance needs and work with stores and procurement for the timely availability.
•Liaison with Engineering Stores to monitor all the stock levels are maintained to the agreed levels by comparing actual values against system values
•Ensure that all the required spares data (provided by maintenance manager) is up to date in ERP system.

5. Quality, Health and Safety
•Ensure that all the maintenance activities are carried out as per the QHS&E policies of the company.
•Ensure all the maintenance work is carried out safely
•Ensure no Quality or Safety incidents as a result of maintenance activities
•Ensure that 5S, GMP standards are maintained in the maintenance owned areas and other areas during maintenance activities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
•Diploma or Degree in engineering.

Minimum Experience:
•8 Years of maintenance experience in Food and Beverages industry, in which 4 years as maintenance planner.

Functional Knowledge:
•Detailed understanding and experience of modern maintenance techniques, particularly Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling and Condition Based Maintenance
•Good level of understanding and experience of fast pace environment driven by KPIs
•Total Productive Maintenance methodology and implementation

Job-Specific Skills:
•Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing maintenance process.
•Knowledge and experience of Total Productive Maintenance implementation.
•comprehensive knowledge and experience of managing CMMS
•Manufacturing Environmental Health & Safety.
