Maintenance Technician

Job description / Role

• Acting as a Team leader to Oversee and support entire activities under Facility and Maintenance dept.
• Support the management of staff and the staff rosters.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities.
• Attend emergency call 24/7.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance for cinema assets which includes Electrical panels, Lighting, Control panels, Kitchen equipment’s, Wash room accessories, HVAC and BMS system etc.
• Inspect Fire alarm, Firefighting, Access control, BMS system, Lighting control on daily basis and report if there are any deficiencies.
• Attend helpdesk request and complete the requested work.
• Prepare material request & purchase materials as needed.
• Execute the minor civil fit out and painting works.
• Supervise the activities performed by the service providers and contractor.
• Keep the cinema assets in good working condition all the time.
• Perform predictive maintenance to avoid break down and downtime.
• Prepare monthly inventory of maintenance spares.
• Drop and pick up maintenance staff to attend the helpdesk and emergencies.
• Transferring cinema assets from one location to another and safe keeping in warehouse.
• Facilitate the upkeep of facilities, to include scheduling of painting, repair, civil work and maintenance
• Liaising with cinema team members and other Business unit to resolve the maintenance issues.
• Ensuring local adherence to, and practice of; policies and procedures,
• Risk Management processes, quality and safety management systems, health & safety, standards, legislation etc.
• Flexible approach to working patterns to include evenings and weekends and to cover rota shifts as/if required.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure assigned maintenance activities are completed on time.
• Prepare the job report with material used and time consumed to complete the task.
• Inspect the facility regularly and update the Sr. Facility manager on required maintenance and repair works to be performed.

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience in a relevant field
• Relevant Experience in MEP, Civil and Kitchen equipment’s.
• Technical Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical.
• Supervisory skills
• UAE Driving License – manual light vehicle
• Knowledge of BMS, Fire Alarm System, Access Control, UPS, CCTV and HVAC system
