Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of this position is to drive Sales and Business Development of Managed Security for Enterprise Managed Services & Solutions, as per assigned targets which are aligned with the overall Sales strategy and Marketing's portfolio development plan.

The role holder works in co-ordination with customers, Enterprise Account Managers, Product Marketing and external partners to educate customers on Enterprise Managed Services and Solutions offerings by du; Identifies the need for new propositions and creates new market opportunities through customer engagement.

The role holder will be responsible for the Sales of Managed Security, for the business development of Managed Security, as well as supporting Enterprise Account Managers in the closing of Managed Security deals.

Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in telecommunication, Comp Sc or electronics.
- MBA is a plus
- Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in IT or telecommunications, specifically either of the following:
- 3+ years in Product / Project / Service Management
- 3+ years in Account management

Knowledge and skills:
- Independent and kick-starting approach to doing business and to selling
- Solid communication skills
- Excellent time management, and organization skills
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Extensive knowledge of the Sales Cycle is essential.
- Business forecasting
- Competitive analysis
- Price management
- Expert Knowledge of the telecom and IT market dynamics, specifically: IP Transit, Internet Peering, VPN, BGP, MPLS, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, Management of Customer Premise Equipment, Broadband, DDOS and VSAT solutions.
- General technical understanding of connected (IP) products and Cloud / Hub / Spoke Network Topologies
- Exposure to Managed Fire Walls / Intrusion Detection Services, Cloud Unified Threat Management, Managed Distributed Denial of Service, Toll fraud monitoring, Secure Webhosting, Mobile Device Management.
