Job objective
This role will be responsible for leading the change process and deliverables for a specific project. The change management engineer will play a key role in ensuring user adoption, focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business, processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organization structure.
Responsibilities
- Apply the change methodology for projects
- Facilitate change management activities for individual projects, working with local business focal points/change network
- Assess the change impact: Carry out change impact assessments across areas impacted ensuring all aspects of change are captured - system, process, roles and skills, technology
- Work with local business leadership teams to drive consistent and positive messages about the changes
- Create and execute communication and stakeholder plans to engage users, support the business, and facilitate change
- Development of engagement packs and materials, ensuring alignment with key project messaging
- Drive all aspects of training from analysis through to delivery
- Facilitation of business process change with business teams and process owners - To be process walkthrough, alignment of processes (local to global)
- Assist with preparation and execution of business readiness assessments
- Report progress to change manager to ensure alignment with overall project plan
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 8 years + experience in delivering engagement and change programs
- A solid understanding of organizational change
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to engage with senior leadership
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Resilient with the ability to work with challenging stakeholders who are often adverse to change
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to facilitate workshops, documenting the future state business processes and change impacts

- Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships, active listening skills, resilient with the ability to work with challenging stakeholders who are often adverse to change
- The ability to work in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment whilst dealing with ambiguity and diverse options
