Summary

Scope and General Purpose of Job:

To support and execute the initiatives set by the Head of Digital Marketing, by engaging in various administrative duties, analyze and utilise data effectively, and be curious, creative and proactive to assist in reaching lead marketing goals, and overall hotel revenue targets.

Main Duties

Administrative

• Assist the scheduling and distribution of tasks given by the Head of Digital Marketing.
• Ensure that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained.
• Contribute to improving the organization of documents/contracts/invoices (hard copies and soft copies).
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations.

Customer Service

• To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
• To provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
• To be familiar with the hotel's products and services and policies.
• To maintain positive colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Financial

• To ensure that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• Update financial records accordingly, by noting and filing invoices received from suppliers and partners in an organized manner, and to track spends in relation to the budget.
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to collate monthly accruals accurately and in a timely manner.

Operational

• Assist in producing content for both print and digital marketing platforms to support communications and marketing efforts, in the form of the following, but not limited to, press releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers, social media posts, copywriting, photography and videography.
• Contribute to developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further marketing goals and hotel objectives.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
• Understand the execution of existing marketing programs and events, as well as assist in developing and running new campaigns.
• Study and recognize the Grand Hyatt Brand Guidelines.
• Familiarize with all marketing platforms and softwares that are used and managed by the marketing team.
• Seamlessly execute tasks that require the use of these marketing platforms and softwares.

• Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and work under tight deadlines.
• An analytical mind with ability to think critically and have a desire to learn and improve processes.

• As a people person-you function highly in a team setting, and are able to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
• Not afraid to take on new challenges and problem-solve independently.

Other Duties

• To attend and contribute to all training sessions and meetings as required.
• To exercise responsible behavior at all times and positively representing Grand Hyatt Dubai and Hyatt International.
• To respond to changes in the Digital Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Specific

• To work closely with a mentor throughout the training programme
• To undertake special projects and meet deadlines as instructed by Division / Department heads
• To willingly make suggestions / participate in discussions for the betterment of the department

Requirements

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Digital Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
