STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT
Manager - Capacity Planning - Baggage & Cargo
The group maps out where we're going, what that means, and what it looks like. Our Research team analyses the industry so that we're never playing catch-up. Development translate strategies into plans and projects. In Corporate Development, it's more about the impact of strategies on our day-to-day running. And our Corporate Planning team creates strategy so that we're agile enough to respond in a fast-evolving industry.
Job Purpose
In this essential role, you'll oversee capacity analysis and planning for Baggage and Cargo at Dubai Internal and Al Maktoum International Airports. From defining future facility requirements to promoting their development, you'll continually investigate opportunities for improvement and fill in data gaps that can't be obtained through existing measures.
Requirements
To be successful, you'll need a relevant degree level qualification, ideally in a numerical subject, and preferably a master's degree level qualification in Operational Research or similar.
Experience
Alongside considerable experience in capacity planning, we're looking for someone with an aviation industry background and a good working knowledge of simulation tools and large data-sets.
You should also have:
- Exceptional stakeholder and project management skills.
- The ability to communicate data to a wider audience.
- A working knowledge of key airport processes and operations.
