Job description / Role
Robert Half are working with a company based in Dubai, looking to hire a Manager Business Development.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, the resource will play a critical role pertaining to overall property development business. The role requires a solid understanding of real estate market, product understanding, different micro-markets demand supply dynamics, sound knowledge of corporate finance concepts, and deep working knowledge of feasibility studies and residential/office/retail unit pricing. This role requires a professional with strong personality coupled with good inter-personal skills, excellent "excel, analytical, data analysis and presentation skills, ability to multi-task and deliver within deadlines in a fast paced dynamic environment. The candidate is required to make recommendation on various deliverables to Management on continuous basis.
* Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis, including market trends, competition, and pricing strategies of competitors.
* Undertake feasibility studies for potential opportunities with quick turn around
* Pricing of residential units/office/retail/hospitality units for new projects and existing projects based on strong research and comparables collected from primary and secondary research.
* Expert on various real estate valuation methodologies and their application on relevant asset classes.
* Collect, clean, and organize real estate market data, property data, and other relevant datasets, to identify insights and trends.
* Prepare powerpoint presentation highlighting research, feasibility, product, offers and recommendation
* Coordinate with Consultants on requests for valuation, market research, feasibility, pricing and HBU and review the reports for any suggestion/changes etc.
* Assessment of existing and new projects profitability on ongoing basis.
* Support finance team on specific requirement related to valuation and feasibility for audit purpose
* Key member of Investment committee focussing on new opportunities (Purchase and/or Joint Venture)
* Coordinate with Marketing, Sales team and design team for product development, customer offers and unit pricing
* Work with department head on reporting and other business development initiatives as required
Requirements:
Key requisites - Only candidate that meet the following criteria will be considered
* Experience in the Real Estate industry in the UAE.
* Must have an Accounting qualification- ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or CFA
* Consulting experience in Real Estate
* At least 6-8 years of experience in Real Estate feasibility studies, land acquisition, Real estate valuation methodologies.
* Good stakeholder engagement and management experience
