As a Manager - Collateral Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily collateral processes, managing counter-party exposure, and ensuring risk mitigation and liquidity optimiation. You will also lead and develop a small team, fostering a high-performance culture while collaborating with risk, legal, and compliance teams to safeguard clearing operations.

Description
* Develop and implement collateral management strategies aligned with regulatory frameworks and risk policies.
* Oversee daily collateral operations, including collateral allocation, valuation, margining, and reconciliation.
* Lead and manage a team of two professionals, providing guidance, performance management, and mentorship.
* Monitor and manage collateral exposure, eligibility criteria, and margin requirements.
* Ensure compliance with global financial regulations and risk management policies.
* Collaborate with custodians, financial institutions, and internal teams on collateral safekeeping and segregation.
* Optimize collateral utilization to minimize funding costs and liquidity risks.
* Provide strategic insights on collateral trends, regulatory changes, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance collateral processes.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* 10+ years of experience in financial sector.
* 4+ years of managerial experience in collateral management or risk operations.
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
* Expertise in collateral management principles, financial instruments, and risk frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of derivative instruments, securities lending, and repo markets.
* Certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) are preferred.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
