Manager - Construction

Job description / Role

Looking for a Manager - construction for one of our PMC projects with below experience

• Must have on Oil & Gas field Experience, especially in Projects/facilities related to Multi-Product Storage Tanks Terminals/LPG Storage Bottling Plants etc. mainly related to Design Experience and Construction of Storage Tanks, LPG Bullets, piping, pipelines, static equipment, rotating equipment (like pumps), fire-fighting system, truck loading system, utilities and other associated/similar facilities).
• Must hold Hands On Design, FEED and Design Review Experience on the Major Projects of above nature along with construction exposure

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with Project manage continuously regarding project progress and area of concerns.
• Propose PMC in house project management procedure to comply with agreement requirements and procedures.
• Establish and maintain specific project procedures for Design/ Construction supervision management.
• Prepare special report to management to investigate any problem related to scope of service sand recommended solutions.
• Present PMC mobilization, demobilization and replacement plans.
• Lead PMC staff in assessing variations, claims, reports to management the technical position of the proposed variation.
• Coordinate with engineering manager during the detailed design stage of the project to ensure design compliance with requirement, avoid any cost impact and ensure design deliverables are submitted by the design consultant in a timely manner and as per project progress timelines.
• To attend executive meetings, weekly progress meetings, quality meetings, safety meeting and make sure that weekly technical meetings are attended by all relevant disciplines.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate shall be a qualified Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
• Total 20 years of post qualification experience
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Project and Construction Management
• Lead PMC staff in controlling overall Project Quality, Safety, Progress and Cost Objectives as well as to ensure all Project Documentation is properly controlled as per COMPANY requirements
• Must have a valid UAE Driving Licence
