Job description / Role
Responsible for all design issues concerning the project during the design process and during construction, taking responsibility for effective management of time, cost and quality projections on all projects within the portfolio and responsible for prequalifying and selecting design consultants and defining the design scope of works.
- Analyze, Review and evaluate design submissions by various consultants and ensure design meets the nominated budget, quality and time and DP Design parameters.
- Provide project design input and identify solutions on projects to achieve established developer and tenant goals.
- Review the design concepts and drawings for the projects and provide feedback, design suggestions and alternatives to assist in meeting established budgets and time lines.
- Present project design to senior management (individually or in groups) to secure the necessary approvals.
- Make necessary site visits for project meetings to review progress of construction and mock-ups and participate in resolving design related problems.
Requirements
- Architectural Degree or a qualified Architect with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Design and Construction.
- 6-8 years’ experience in design management with Consultancy firms or a reputed real estate developer with at least 2 in a managerial role.
Persons Specification:
- Should be highly analytical on design and possess a good understanding of the entire process including design, project management, building architecture and should be skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and digital imaging softwares.
